Design by Toko was engaged to re-develop the identity of New Zealand-based Formway. Formway has been designing and manufacturing performance seating for more than five decades and is recognised as a leader in the design of ergonomic seating. A well-known example is the Generation by Knoll, designed by Formway as the world’s first multi-mode, multi-posture task chair.

Formway is no retailer or brand to the public allowing an abstract(er) approach,  unusual playfulness and even confusion - all fully embraced by the stakeholders. The marque appears in several executions, deconstructed on controlled collateral, divided on e.g. sliding doors or ‘intact’ if applicable.

Toko developed the brand identity and the product & studio culture documentation guide to ensure uniformity across all touch points.
