Curated by Gerard Reinmuth (Australia) and Karen Kjaergaard (Denmark) the 'Danish Design at the House' exhibition featured a cross section of Danish design innovations in a thematic structure. The unique, Utzon designed, shape of the windows "dictated" our creative direction for the exhibition identity and all other graphic components.

We reinvented the Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec-designed Officina chair for the the third edition of Cult’s annual ‘Chairity Project'. To emphasise the wrought iron frame of the Officina Chair we applied 1300 magnets. Making good use of the chair’s iron physicality while creating volume and presence at the same time.

Over the years we organised several exhibitions at our Gallery space on Oxford street Sydney highlighting edition art and art on paper thereby offering the opportunity to buy original, rare prints and posters from some of the late 20th century’s boldest art movements.
Under the moniker, Twodot Publishing, Design by Toko publishes artists' books. Introducing children and adults alike to art, design and interpretive abstraction through minimalism. The books can be purchased at some of the worlds leading cultural institutions.

Chasing the Sky is a book that showcases twenty of Australia’s leading women in architecture designed for Maven Publishing. Briefed as a coffee table book our approach was to bring a level of accessibility to the publication and create an easily 'transportable' and 'less precious' collection of stories.

The creative hoardings program was created in response to community demand for more street art to enliven the streets of Sydney. Design by Toko was the first agency to provide creative for this exciting new program. Eva's art practice proved a perfect point of departure for the creative.

In collaboration with Unit1, Design by Toko designed and art-directed a seasonal campaign for the contemporary Australian luxury fashion brand.
Design by Toko was engaged to re-develop the identity of New Zealand-based Formway. Formway has been designing and manufacturing performance seating for more than five decades and is recognised as a leader in the design of ergonomic seating.

The book ‘Long Story, Made in China captures the sheer scale, complexity and history of the Chinese Zodiac Dragon. A monumental but foremost conceptual interpretation of the Dragon, the book celebrates every Dragon year since its supposed origins in 2697 BCE based on the most widely ‘tolerated’ myth.

Lacoste + Stevenson: Architecture Stories is a compilation of projects by award-winning architects Lacoste + Stevenson published by Uro Publications. The assembled work spans two decades of practice and two continents, and includes built and unbuilt projects of varying programmes, complexities and budgets, from furniture design to urban master planning, art installations to large buildings.

Written by Beau Neilson when she was just 9 years old. The first edition was illustrated by Beau, and published in 1999. For the new edition we commissioned Canadian based illustrator Hudson Christie.

Concept and layout design for The Monkeys agency book, celebrating a decade of provocation. The book is an ode to people, projects and brands that helped The Monkeys evolve as a creative agency. Curated by Semi-Permanent founder and director, Murray Bell.
The City of Sydney commissioned Toko to activate and 'soften' the Prince Alfred Park Pool Cafe. We found inspiration in the award-winning architecture, designed by Neeson Murcutt, and the immediate logic context. A bespoke powder-coated steel structure functions as an art frame for 12 interchangeable bathing towels.
