While the world is wasting time, money and resources on war, it is a tragedy to realise that with all global military expenditure (1981 billion US$ globally p/y) we could end poverty and tackle climate change in a heart beat, and then some …

To end extreme poverty we ‘only’ need 175 billion p/y. Equal to 1 MONTH of global military spending.

To protect the world against climate change we need 2 billion US$ p/y. Equal to less then HALF A DAY of global military spending.
